It is up to us to utilize the keys that live within our existence’s possession when opportunity illuminates the things that our heart calls for.

The only key that will ever suffice is the one that cannot be taken from us because it is us.

When life gets to a point of exhaustion we peek through the locks that we once knew we held the keys to. We wonder how we got trapped inside these closed doors that have held darkness over us for so long. We dream of the day that we flail our arms in hopes of touching the one thing needed to open our darkest moments and let them go. Fractures of light become the only thing known over time, but also become the only thing needed to continue to want more for ourselves.

I can speak to this more than anything that I have thus far. Living in a place where the only answer needed to escape my problems sat with me and not knowing it was such a hopeless place to be. It seemed as if I had endlessly searched for a key to a door that did not exist anymore. The light that magnified my heart sat in the same place the entire time as I desperately looked for a way out. It was not until I finally sat still for a moment that I realized everything that I was being shown. Whenever the light coming from that lock landed on my heart it began to release itself. It showed me that I was the answer to the things that were holding me back and it also showed me that I am everything needed to let my darkness go.

We will always be the key holders of our happiness. When we feel lost it is only because we have forgotten how critical of a role we play in the release of our problems and the finding of our own solutions. We live inside of darkness because we have fallen emotionally from the beautiful light that our hearts will endlessly hold on to. We must find pride in knowing that we hold the answers to the solutions when it comes to every problem that we face.
