My Journey Today Change Through Understanding
I have always been told that we need to go on a deep dive to revisit things that may have had an impact on who we are today. I am going to save you the long version of this and tell you flat out what you will find. Some of the ugliest things in your life will surface and some of the happiest moments as well. To this day, I struggle to understand all of it. Why did I deserve the things that have occurred, and more importantly the things that continue to happen? I have learned that if we take every event as an opportunity to learn, then we have less of an opportunity of falling into the same traps. We grow to escape a dark way of living to find peace through greeting brighter horizons.
Understanding That It Begins and Ends With You
Until recently, I was not able to understand how important loving myself was. It became important to realize that every thought, every decision, and every out come supported the approach toward changing. These factors helped me see a life that I was stuck inside of, and more importantly the one that I wanted. Rediscovering hope requires courage and a drive through lessons learned during troubling times. It calls for a strong hearted and determined human to accept their part in past mistakes, and creating change. When things began to unblur and my worth began to surface, I started to envision the potential of being happy again. I do not want this to be shadowed by simplicity or ease. There we times when failing made me the most angry and frustrated version of myself that I had known. My health conditions combined made it nearly impossible to be consistent. All I wanted was mental peace and clarity in life. When you get fed up enough to find a reason to change, you will do anything needed to protect your progress as you push toward a better way of living.
Not One Day At A Time. One Meaningful Reason At A Time
When you open your soul to everything that you decide to involve yourself in, your heart and your mind begin to cherish an image of yourself. The work required can seem inflexible, stringent, and rigorous. Try to focus on what the outcomes of each step offers, and your strength will come in those same moments. Understanding what you are required to do will support the process of finding happiness. A strong outlook is required to gain an appreciation of emerging from dark places that will no longer control your life.
