In order to love where we are heading we must look forward to the adventure as much as we do the destination.

The souls of our shoes tell the stories of our heart’s guidance.

Imagine having a factory reset button available for every decision that we have made. Better yet, Imagine having one for all of the unwanted outcomes that we have had to endure. We would simply be an unmaintained machine with no operator and one function. The problem with having a factory reset button would be that life does not present itself in one way and neither will the way that we live within its terms.

I remember being ready for anything that life could throw at me because I had ducked and dodged so many ridiculous self-inflicted scenarios. I became scripted in a way that answered my problems with everything but solutions. I challenged my problems to throw something at me that could actually do more damage than the current ones that I was already dealing with. When I realized how piled up things had become I eventually recognized that trying to ignore taking action was like building a wall that I planned on walking through. I started to deal with my problems brick by brick and in doing so I am now able to see over an unobstructed patch that I had not known to exist before.

Figuratively speaking, the soul that lives inside of you will travel anywhere you need it to at any time that you need it to in order for you to simply be ok. Allowing yourself to feel at ease comes from simply asking your heart what it takes to feel at peace and doing what is needed to experience it.
