With each fall we grow more beautiful as long as we remain willing to pick up the pieces.

Life does not give up on us until we give up on it.

Change is obtained through remaining able to take the actions necessary to learn and grow. When we get beat up time and time again it becomes tough to imagine putting things back together. It is easy to blame the past and even harder to find a reason to fix things in the present to create a better future.

For the longest time, I sat with my hands full of fragments of what was once a confident and driven human. Some pieces had fine edges that made it easy to know what part of me they represented, and others were dull with no true way of knowing where they belonged in this chaotic equation that my life had become. I searched for colors and shapes desperately to put things together the way that I thought they should go instead of paying attention to the beauty behind allowing them to be placed where they naturally belonged.

Failure does not represent defeat until we allow it to. Growth is represented heavily through being able to overcome obstacles followed by putting together the pieces that we are provided within the lessons that come from them.
