The common road is not always the right road. Follow a path that brings you happiness and allows you to walk in prideful strides.
Imagine how different the colors of life would look if you created and followed your own path.
Taking strides that follow the steps of others creates movement that will lead you down a path of others successes and/or failures. The expectation of becoming whatever it is that you are following is the equivalent of dull sheers leading your way. Eventually they do not cut at all and become a terror more than a reason to push forward. If you are not enjoying the path that you consistently utilize to gain that next step, then you are likely not to pursue the things needed to enjoy the journey along the way.
I do not remember following the path of others, but then again I landed myself in similar places as others did. I have always veered away from doing things the same way as everyone else and although I have failed, I have been able to create the strongest version of myself in more ways than I can think to explain.
If the colors are bland, then your interests in the process will be as well. If expectation is added to anything, then we will create the same end goals as others and follow as expected. Doing things this way will cause a lack of responsibility and raise a lack of awareness. We can only fail ourselves by expecting things outside of us to create our new ways as we want them to be.
What will you do today to carve a path to happiness the way that you want it to be formed while holding no expectations on others to do it for you?
