Your True Self
A lost soul wanders inside the shell of a human that has lost their way. It does not abandon them when they loose sight, it lights their path. It does not create reasons to help soften a blow, it strengthens them everywhere needed to withstand the next one. It does not provide freedom to those that don’t believe they deserve it, it helps them see that they always have. It does not exist with a love that lacks shelter because the heart will always be its home.
The truest form of living within pure freedom comes when we give ourselves a chance to live freely in the world without worry of judgment being cast on us or the opinion of the person to our left and right. Relationships with others and the bonds we create work wonders in life if the love is shared, but depending on others to supply our purest happiness is a grave mistake and a common one in today’s world. Take a moment to open up to yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what truly makes you the person that you are. Ask yourself the questions you have avoided facing for so long. Find time to search deep during these moments to really dig up and face the anger or sadness that you have stashed away. In order to remove the roots that are soiled into darkness, we must realize that we hold a light inside that illuminates things just enough to let us know how to deal when we are ready. That same light feeds off of how in tune with your soul that your heart is. A beautiful ember within that has got your back even at your most tired points, no matter how beaten and battered you think you are.
When we begin to find ourselves it is important that we understand that we were never lost. We have been here the whole time living misguided not by others, but by the darkness that lied of our worth. We have taken off the blinders that were placed over our eyes by the ones that see us as a threat. Our demons don’t find people that make mistakes appealing. They find and trail the people that have known success. They latch on to people that have been so in tune with themselves at some point that it scares them cold. The best thing you could ever find in this life is a reason to understand your inner self as something that will never give up on you. No matter where in your journey that you currently stand. YOU ARE THERE AND SO IS YOUR LIGHT.
