Let your heart be heard through your attempt to change, even if you are the only one there to dance to it.
Our mind plays music that is provided by our hearts need for peace and happiness.
Our life is a record etched over time, that tells a story about who we are. We write songs within our story, and most of the time we look back to not even know what we are listening to. When we become lost, we begin to hear a life with no rhythm, and a song that progressively becomes accepted in deafening ways.
We do our best to tune our hearts during tough times. We try to reach an octave that seems so far away from what our vocal chords can handle. In really dark times, I remember my heart becoming completely silent in a room that was soundproofed by demons endless voices. I listened to the songs they played in this room, instead of the ones that had once driven me toward my attempt to be better. When I got tired enough of listening to the same record against my will, I ripped the vinyl off of the record player and shattered it. In doing so, I broke my demons grip, along with their walls that lied to me about who I was.
Sing your song as loud as you can, and watch what happens when your heart takes control and your mind gets to process.
What will you do today to ensure that the sound of your heart plays at a volume that can make you want to love yourself again?
