Life is gained through strength, and strength is gained through living.
Fear is not bad if we use it to drive ourselves away from everything that creates it.
If we live life stuck within walls that cause us discomfort, how do we find reasons to discover more? If we are scared to discover things outside of the lies our demons tell us and our previous mistakes, how do we find an approach toward overcoming what has shut us down for such a long time?
Fight or flight is a term derived from the reaction of all living species stemming from challenges. It is thought to be a response built within certain parts of the brain. This will naturally occur differently for all of us, because most people do not deal with things the same way. What happens when we pay attention to this reaction? What is the result not only learn from it, but get tired enough to challenge things from the other side? We tend to “fly” away from things that scare us and make us feel incapable. However, when we get tired enough of being beaten down, we eventually “fight” with all that we are for all that we want to become.
I remember a time where I knew my worth and strength enough to challenge everything that came my way. I would tell you that had changed and let to my troubles, but it was always there. I have been deep down and gotten lost. So lost, that I had no understanding of how to be found again. I not only doubted myself, but lost knowledge of any strength I had ever had. I have now been given an opportunity to find every bit of strength that I have left, which I gained from fighting those miserable moments.
When you feel yourself fading away from the reasons you want change, do not fail to see the reasons your demons want you to fail. Let your wings spread and your soul guide you to heights you have never known.
What will you do today to not only fly, but find reason within fighting hard enough to soar?
