Spirit Guide Me

Take my hand and guide the way to a world unknown…
Help me understand the things you see in me and the ways in which I’ve grown.

Uncloud the skies that hide the beauty that I have so far missed…
Get behind me and push me along when my demons begin to insist.

I am tired of walking alone and I am sick of all the failure…
Help me understand that all the added weight needed me to be the tailor.

Life needed me to stop adding pressure where it didn’t belong…
So I could raise my chest, open my lungs, and sing my song.
