When life is upside down. There is still a beauty to be found within. Let it run its course.

The knowledge gained while growing to love ones self is not always full of fresh air, but it is worth breathing in every growing opportunity.

I have always been intrigued by the process in which a slow paced caterpillar evolves into a such a free and boundless butterfly. Many people see their situations as the layering of a cocoon and that is it. They remain stuck inside of comfort zones because they are scared to work on themselves and offer their beauty to the world. We focus on an entrapped version of ourselves and accept our “limitations”, instead of looking at ourselves and allowing our lives to spread its wings and fly.

Although our phases in life are not necessarily like that of a caterpillar. They are similar in many ways that I failed to recognize. We go through growing phases in our lives that may not make sense at the time, but ultimately provides opportunities to mold us into the beautiful humans we were put here to be. I have had moments where I tore holes in my cocoon to rush the process, because “I had every answer". By doing so I created a warped and distorted reality that did not allow me to express the loving version of myself that I have always wanted to be. We need to allow ourselves to be uncomfortable for a period of time to let a beautiful version of ourselves emerge. I would not have the opportunity to help people in need, had I not sat in my cocoon (skin) for a while and processed the things I was going through entirely.

The most important thing you can do for yourself is sit within your hard times and see the beauty through the discomfort that faces you. Hard times are more worth it than easy when you become everything that you are meant to within your heart.
