The heights of love triumph the lows of depression.

When we are entrapped in problems it becomes hard to look for ways out. It is hard to imagine an outlook above all that we are involved in that doesn’t suit us. I remember times where I felt so surrounded by chaos that all I was able to hear was chatter in my head and no clarity as to how to escape it.

I remember times where I prayed to a rock on the floor to make things stop. I hated myself in every way needed to give up. I could not stand the way I looked, felt, or thought. Everything that was once good about me felt as if it never could be again. Desperate times can cause hopeless moments and result in efforts that cease to exist.

We need to let our heart remain open and serve as a way of lifting us above our problems and troubled areas so we can see things from the top and become more clear on the routes needed to escape and excel.

What will you do today to allow yourself to see situations as if you are not stuck in the middle of them so you have a route to get out?
