Ascending while focusing on falling is succeeding waiting to fail.

Climbing while looking down will make things incredibly hard.

How do we look forward if we are focused on the things behind us? How do we look up while watching our demons hanging from at our feet pulling us downward?

For so many years, I reached up in hopes of grabbing a single moment of feeling ok. I sent out so many smoke signals in hope of help. Everything faded quickly, by the decisions that poured into a hopeful soul, but did not support it. I would think about sliding into an oblivion, and executed doing so by unwillingly allowing my mind to be fed by lies and reasons. When we are climbing, we are moving. When we are moving, we are seperating. When we are seperating from the old us, we are winning.

We have to commit fully and break free of looking down and back for reasons to let go. We grab on to every damn step and we drive our souls through our feet to find the strength to keep going.
